Refund & Returns Policy

1 General Policy

All sales made through Virent Research are final. Due to the nature of research-grade biological and chemical materials, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for the following reasons:

• Change of mind or no longer needing the product
• Ordering errors (wrong compound, wrong quantity)
• Improper handling, storage, or misuse after delivery
• Products that have been opened, used, or compromised in any way

We strongly encourage customers to verify their order details — including product name, SKU, and quantity — before completing checkout.

2 Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you may be eligible for a resolution at our discretion. To initiate a claim, you must notify us within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.

Claims submitted after the 48-hour window, or without the required documentation, may not be eligible for review.

Upon review, Virent Research may, at our sole discretion, offer one of the following resolutions:

• A replacement of the affected product
• Store credit applied to your account
• A refund in cases where replacement is not possible

3 Non-Delivery

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please first check your tracking information. Virent Research will only consider a non-delivery claim under the following circumstances:

• The order was confirmed undelivered due to an error on our part
• The shipping carrier has officially confirmed the shipment as lost in transit
• The claim is submitted promptly after the expected delivery date

Virent Research is not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided at checkout, carrier delays beyond our control, or failed delivery attempts due to the customer's absence.

Refund eligibility in non-delivery situations is determined solely at our discretion, following investigation with the carrier.
